This Sunday February 11th, the shop will be extending our hours for The Super Bowl. Instead of closing at our normal time we will remain open until approximately an hour following the game’s conclusion. We invite anyone interested to come watch the game with us and as in past years this will be a pot-luck party where we encourage folks to bring food to share, although this is not a requirement. If you feel like bringing food we encourage you to share your awesome home recipes if you want to or if you’re not inclined to cook but want to contribute bring along some good old fashioned junk food for munching on.

Join us at Wendell Town Hall on Feb. 13 for the second meeting on this future Wake County park! Drop in anytime from 4-7 p.m. to view concept plans, talk to staff and share your thoughts.

The North Carolina Department of Agriculture's Century Farm Program honors farms that have been in continuous family ownership for 100 years. The Wendell Historical Society is hosting this Century Farm program.
